How to make mint tea
Looking for something healthy to drink or just missing the taste of summer from the glass? Make a tasty mint tea that is good for any time!
As I recently have some time, I had been surfing on the web the other day. Attempting to find new, stirring ideas, inspiring dishes that I have never tasted before, to surprise my loved ones with. Searching for a while but couldn’t come across too many interesting things. Right before I wanted to give up on it, I discovered this delicious and easy dessert by luck at Suncakemom. The dessert seemed so mouth-watering on its image, it called for instant action.
It was simple enough to imagine the way it is made, how it tastes and how much my hubby will probably enjoy it. Mind you, it is quite easy to please him in terms of puddings. Yes, I’m a blessed one. Or perhaps he is.Anyways, I went to the blog and then used the step by step instuctions which were combined with impressive photos of the task. It really makes life quite easy. I can suppose it’s a slight hassle to take photos in the midst of baking in the kitchen as you normally have sticky hands so I highly appreciate the time and effort she devote to build this blogpost and recipe conveniently followed.
With that in mind I am inspired presenting my personal formulas in the same way. Many thanks the idea.
I had been fine tuning the main mixture to make it for the taste of my family. I have to say it absolutely was a terrific success. They prized the flavor, the consistency and loved having a sweet like this during a hectic week. They quite simply wanted more, a lot more. Hence next time I am not going to make the same miscalculation. I am likely to double the quantity .
The Mint tea recipe is from SunCakeMom
Wash the mint then pick a stem with enough leaves for the batch we are preparing. 15 leaves is more than enough for 2 cups of water.
Place the mint leaves into a jug or just put them straight into the cups.
Pour hot water on them and let it sit for about 2-3 minutes. We can leave them there longer for a mintier flavor.
Add optional sweetener and lemon or lemon juice. We can also ice it and enjoy our very best iced mint tea.
