Granola Bars Recipe
Looking for a healthy breakfast or just something on the go? These tasty, healthy and natural granola bars will do the job, be it morning or after lunch.
As I lately have a little time, I had been searching on the web yesterday. Trying to get new, fascinating thoughts, inspirational meals that I have never used before, to surprise my loved ones with. Searching for a while yet could not find lots of interesting things. Right before I thought to give up on it, I found this fabulous and easy dessert simply by chance. It looked so scrumptious on its photo, it required fast actions.
It was not so difficult to imagine the way it’s created, its taste and just how much boyfriend will love it. Mind you, it is very easy to please the man in terms of puddings. Yes, I’m a blessed one. Or possibly he is.Anyhow, I went to the website: Suncakemom and simply used the precise instuctions which were combined with wonderful images of the process. It really makes life rather easy. I could imagine that it’s a bit of a effort to take pics in the middle of cooking in the kitchen as you most often have sticky hands so that i pretty appreciate the time and effort she put in to build this blogpost and recipe conveniently followed.
With that said I’m inspired presenting my own, personal formulas in the same way. Many thanks for the concept.
I had been tweaking the initial recipe to make it for the taste of my loved ones. I have to say it turned out an incredible outcome. They loved the flavor, the overall look and loved having a delicacy such as this during a stressful workweek. They basically demanded even more, a lot more. Hence the next occasion I’m not going to make the same miscalculation. I am likely to double the amount .
This healthy granola bars recipe is from SunCakeMom.
Preheat oven to 350°F / 180°C.
Prepare tray with parchment paper so it’ll be easy to take the granola bars out of the tray when they are ready.
Crush the nuts in a food processor or whatever means available.
Melt butter in a big saucepan.
Mix oat, nuts, sweetener and vanilla extract in a big bowl then pour mixture into the saucepan and roast the oat until it gets a slight golden brown color.
Pour double cream into the saucepan and cook it in low heat for a couple of minutes stirring the mixture constantly.
Separate egg whites from yolks and put them into a mixing bowl to beat them until hard peaks form.
Mix dried fruit and egg whites with the oat mixture evenly.
Put it on the tray and spread it evenly. Press it down as much as possible.
Shape out the stripes of the granola bars before placing tray in the oven.
Put tray in the preheated oven for 15 minutes or until granola bars turn golden brown. Mind the bars at the sides as those tend to brown more quickly. Take them out one before they burn to oblivion.
Take tray out and leave it to cool down completely.
Serve it with milk or other warm drink or keep them in an airtight container for later.
