As I most recently have some time, I had been looking on the web last week. In search of fresh, interesting thoughts, inspiring recipes that I have never tested before, to treat my loved ones with. Looking for a long time yet could not discover any interesting stuff. Just before I wanted to give up on it, I ran across this delicious and simple dessert by chance. The dessert looked so fabulous on its pic, it called for instant action.
It had been easy to imagine how it is made, how it tastes and how much my hubby will like it. Mind you, it is extremely easy to impress the guy when it comes to treats. Yes, I’m a blessed one. Or maybe he is.Anyway, I went to the site: Suncakemom and used the detailed instuctions that were coupled with wonderful images of the operation. It just makes life faster and easier. I could suppose it is a slight inconvenience to take photographs in the middle of baking in the kitchen as you may typically have sticky hands and so i seriously appreciate the hard work she placed in to build this post and recipe conveniently followed.
With that said I am inspired to present my own, personal dishes in the same way. Thanks for the idea.
I was fine tuning the initial mixture to make it for the taste of my loved ones. I must mention that it was a terrific success. They prized the flavor, the thickness and enjoyed getting a sweet like this during a busy week. They basically requested lots more, more and more. So the next time I’m not going to make the same miscalculation. I’m gonna multiply the volume .

Slice up the bacon/pancetta/guanciale. The more fat it has, the better it would be.
On medium heat, render the fat out.
Increase the heat. Mix in the diced up onion and saute until the onion gets a glassy / translucent look for about 5 minutes. Add more fat or oil if neccessary.
Lower the heat to medium to low and slowly caramelize the onions for about 10 -15 minutes.
Meanwhile the onions are getting fried, cut the cabbage up.
Increase the heat to high then mix in the diced up cabbage with the onion and bacon.
Keep stirring the cabbage to prevent it to burn down until it collapses and fry through for about 5 – 10 minutes.
