Open-Faced Sloppy Joe Recipe With Garlic Bread
Ingredients
For the Sloppy Joe Mixture:
1 pound ground beef
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
1/2 cup ketchup
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
For the Garlic Bread:
1 loaf (1 pound) French bread, minimize into 1-inch-thick slices
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1/4 cup chopped contemporary parsley
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
For the Garlic Bread:
Preheat oven to 350 levels F (175 degrees C).
In a small bowl, combine the butter, garlic powder, parsley, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Spread the mixture evenly over one side of every slice of bread.
