– half cup granulated sugar
– 1/4 cup brown sugar

– 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
For the crust:
Combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl; put aside.
In a large bowl, beat the butter and sugars till gentle and fluffy. Beat in the egg and vanilla until nicely blended.
Gradually beat within the dry ingredients until just blended. Do not overmix.
Press the dough into the ready 9×13-inch baking pan. Bake at 350 levels F for 15 to 20 minutes, or till the sides are slightly golden brown.
