Egg Roll Bowl: A Flavorful And Filling Option

Ingredients

For the Egg Roll Filling

1 cup thinly sliced green cabbage

1 cup thinly sliced carrots

1/2 cup thinly sliced red bell pepper

1/2 cup thinly sliced green onions

1/4 cup soy sauce

1/4 cup hoisin sauce

1 tablespoon sesame oil

1 teaspoon ground ginger

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon purple pepper flakes (optional)

For the Sauce

Ingredients for the Sauce:

  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons toasted sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 2 teaspoons ground ginger
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

To Make the Egg Roll Filling

Instructions to Make the Egg Roll Bowl Roll Filling:

Ingredients:

• 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
• eight ounces floor pork
• 8 ounces floor hen
• 1 onion, chopped
• 2 celery stalks, chopped
• 1 carrot, chopped
• 1/4 cup soy sauce
• 1/4 cup oyster sauce
• 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
• 1 tablespoon sugar
• 1/4 teaspoon floor black pepper
• 2 eggs, overwhelmed
• half of cup bean sprouts
• 1/4 cup shredded cabbage

Instructions:

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a big skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the ground pork and ground hen to the skillet and cook till browned.
  3. Add the onion, celery, and carrot to the skillet and cook dinner till softened.
  4. Stir within the soy sauce, oyster sauce, rice vinegar, sugar, and ground black pepper.
  5. Bring to a simmer and cook dinner for five minutes, or until the sauce has thickened.
  6. Push the filling to at least one facet of the skillet and pour within the eggs.

1. Layer elements in the following order: rice, black beans, corn, red pepper, and avocado.

2. Add your desired quantity of dressing.

3. Top with crumbled tortilla chips and cilantro.
